Alp’s expertise and interest lie in number theory and algebraic geometry, algebraic curves (over finite fields), modular curves, arithmetic of function fields, algebraic surfaces and line arrangements, applications to coding theory and cryptography.
Alp Bassa holds Ph.D. in Mathematics from Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany, and previously worked 10+ years as a professor in mathematics.
At Veridise, Alp participates in audits that require particularly deep mathematical and/or cryptography expertise.
